Welcome to Cairo, the heart of Egypt.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour manager, who will assist you with your luggage and customs clearance. Bearing a sign with your name, he will escort you in a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. At the hotel, the tour manager will facilitate your check-in and meticulously review your itinerary, confirming pick-up times for each tour.
Overnight in Cairo.
After a hearty breakfast at your Cairo hotel, your personal guide will accompany you at 9:00 AM to Giza. There, you will marvel at the ancient wonders—the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, alongside the enigmatic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Post this extraordinary visit, enjoy a delectable lunch at a distinguished restaurant. Next, immerse yourself in the treasures of the Egyptian Museum.
Your journey continues into Islamic Cairo, where you will wander through the historic Khan El Khalili bazaar. Conclude your day with a freshly prepared dinner at your hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a tour of Cairo’s revered churches. The day begins at the Church of the Virgin Mary in Ma’adi, followed by visits to the Hanging Church and St. Sergius. You will then explore the Church of St. George and the ancient Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo, significant sites on the Holy Family's path.
Relish lunch at a local eatery in Cairo before ending the day with dinner at your hotel.

After breakfast, visit more venerated churches in Cairo. Your journey includes El Matariya, home to the sacred "Mary's Tree," under which the Holy Family found respite. Marvel at the aromatic balsam plant used in church rituals.
Next, visit the Church of the Virgin Mary in the Zeiton area, adorned with intricate carvings and icons by Italian artists. End the day with dinner at your hotel.

Check out after breakfast and drive south to visit the 4th-century Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul, dramatically set against the eastern desert cliffs. St. Anthony's Monastery is the largest in Egypt, built over the saint's tomb, while St. Paul's Monastery, though younger, is equally adorned with exquisite artifacts.
Travel to Upper Egypt, stopping at Jabal Al Tair (the Birds Mountain) near El Minya, where the Holy Family found shelter in a cave now within an ancient church. Check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
