Once at the hotel, our representative will facilitate your check-in, review the itinerary, and coordinate the timings for the forthcoming tours.
Enjoy leisure time at the hotel to unwind.
In the morning, a tour guide and chauffeur will collect you from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to commence a day of remarkable sightseeing:
The iconic Pyramids of Giza, recognized globally, are the last standing of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The three primary pyramids are the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus.
These smaller pyramids served as the burial sites for the pharaohs' consorts and were surrounded by workers' villages, temples, and tombs.
This colossal statue, carved from the bedrock of the Giza plateau, depicts a reclining lion with a human head. Originally adorned with red ochre paint and a ceremonial beard, it has withstood the ravages of time.
Visit this temple, which was used for the purification of the king's mummy and for conducting the embalming process.
Lunch:
After touring the Pyramids of Giza, take a respite to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant offering authentic Egyptian cuisine (drinks not included).
This museum houses an unparalleled collection of ancient artifacts spanning 5,000 years, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Over 25,000 artifacts, including jewelry and furniture from the young pharaoh's tomb, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, are on display.
Conclude the day with a visit to this vibrant bazaar, Cairo's bustling primary market, where you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere and purchase exquisite local handicrafts.
Return to the hotel after the tour.
A private car will transfer you from your Cairo hotel to Alexandria, a scenic three-hour drive. Upon arrival in the morning, embark on a tour that includes:
Dating back to the Roman era, these catacombs feature three levels of tombs and intricate decorations blending Egyptian and Roman iconography.
Located behind the Street of Facades, this theater was initially built by the Nabataeans and later expanded by the Romans to accommodate up to 3,000 spectators.
Visit the modern Library of Alexandria, a nod to the ancient god Amun-Ra and the historic Lighthouse of Alexandria. The complex includes multiple libraries, a planetarium, museums, a laboratory, and a printing press. Note: The library is closed on Fridays and Saturdays (viewing from the outside only).
Admire the architectural splendor of this mosque, constructed between 1929-1945 and inspired by ancient Egyptian edifices in Cairo.
Lunch:
Replenish with a meal at a seaside restaurant, savoring traditional Egyptian dishes, including meat, rice, and salads (drinks not included).
View this fortress from the outside, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. The citadel, constructed in 1480 by Sultan Ashraf Abu al-Nasr Seif al-Din Qaitbay, served as a formidable defense.
Return to the hotel in Cairo after the tour.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before our representative escorts you to the airport, assisting with the final departure procedures.
