Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and whisked away in an air-conditioned vehicle to your luxurious hotel. After check-in, your itinerary and meeting times for tours will be reviewed. Enjoy some leisure time at the hotel.

In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up for a captivating tour:

  • Giza Pyramids: Explore the last surviving wonder of the ancient world, including the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.
  • Queen Pyramids: Smaller pyramids for the pharaohs’ consorts and other important figures, along with workers' villages and temples.
  • Great Sphinx: The iconic limestone statue with a lion's body and a human head, once painted and adorned with a beard.
  • Valley Temple: Used for the mummification process of the king.
  • Saqqara Pyramid: The step pyramid of Djoser, a pioneering structure built by the legendary architect Imhotep.
  • Bent Pyramid: Located in Dahshur, notable for its unusual shape.
  • Red Pyramid: The transition from stepped to smooth-sided pyramids is evident here. After the tour, return to your hotel.

Begin your day with a visit to:

  • Egyptian Museum of Antiquities: Home to over 25,000 artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb.
  • Babylon Castle: A fortress with walls reinforced by Roman emperors, featuring thick walls and towering structures.
  • The Hanging Church: Renowned for its wooden dome resembling Noah's Ark.

Fly to Aswan and visit:

  • Aswan High Dam: A colossal engineering feat built to control the Nile floods.
  • Unfinished Obelisk: An enormous granite piece intended to be the largest obelisk.
  • Philae Temple: Dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on an island. Return to your Nile Cruise.

Sail to:

  • Kom Ombo Temple: A dual temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Horus.
  • Edfu Temple: One of the best-preserved temples, dedicated to Horus. Enjoy dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Visit:

  • Valley of the Kings: Home to pharaohs’ tombs filled with treasures for the afterlife.
  • Hatshepsut Temple: A stunning temple dedicated to Egypt’s first female pharaoh.
  • Colossi of Memnon: Giant statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Return to the cruise.
